It’s time for our annual GAA Move-a-thon Fundraiser where:

All students will be a part of creating healthy and mindful bodies through daily activities and reminders!

Every class will participate in 30 minutes of active fun - basketball, dodgeball, relay races, tug-of-war, dancing and more!

EVERY classroom will benefit from the collection of pledges as they all get money for their STEM activities!

All students K-6. and Mod/Severe will have an awesome time with the school day event! *The above activities are for EVERY student regardless if you provide a donation.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to STEM budgets and other PTA programs! STEM budgets provide every classroom with money for teachers to have active learning experiences within their classrooms without paying for it from their own pocket.
We are asking all GAA families to ask friends and family members (no complete strangers unless parent is with you!) to donate what they can, $1 or more will do from each person you ask! If you ask 50 people, you will have $50 dollars! We do not want families just paying for this, we really want the students to ask those they know for help. We are hoping to raise $20,000 total, and every little bit helps. To help keep our students’ experiences exciting and educational, we like to help our teachers purchase STEM related items, labs, and activities for their classrooms.
**IF WE REACH OUR GOAL OF $20,000, OUR STUDENTS AND PARENTS WILL BE REWARDED WITH LUNCH ON THE LAWN THE LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL!!! DATE TBD.**

Run for the Stars
If your student brings in $50 in pledges or more, they are invited to participate in GAA PTA’s Run for the Stars after-school event!! The after-school event will feature the Run For the Stars experience, a wild and colorful obstacle course available for all ages! Students and families can walk, run, crawl, balance, get colorful, and much, much more! Family Members can join students who qualified for the Run for the Stars for an additional $10 each. Finally, participants will also be awarded with popsicles at the end of the event!
The Run for the Stars will take place after school on Friday, May 30th from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. If your student(s) qualify for the Run for the Stars, there will be separate paperwork sent home to be completed once they have reached the $50 or more in pledges.
All Pledges must be received by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 20th to count towards Run for the Stars.
